Bond/Fitzgerald Cesario/Rooklyn Gulson/Porter - 3 GTV6’s - Bathurst 1986
The three GTV6 Group A cars through the dipper. The Ignis (Luigi Racing) car is now restored and lives in Bayswater, the PYE car was the first of the factory Alfa’s, then sold to the Toy Shop, then to Rookly, and run in the PYE colours in 1986. Later it was converted to a sports sedan, written off with most of the car destroyed, reshelled with none of the original parts remaining.
The Dulux and Ignis cars are now the only surviving Australian raced Group A GTV6’s. The Dulux car the only car to race in both the Group C and Group A era.
